It wasn’t part of the plan. Photography found me before I even realized I was searching.

The first time I picked up a camera, I was just a kid—maybe 9 or 10. My grandmother took me to get a disposable one, just something simple. At the time, it felt random—just a moment between us. But looking back, I see it now as sacred. That quiet trip was the beginning of a vision I didn’t yet have words for.

Years later, it was a spiritual leader who saw something in me I hadn’t yet claimed.  They handed me a camera and gave me space to explore no pressure, no expectations. Just vision. And from that space, I fell into photography and videography... or maybe, it’s more honest to say, they caught me.

I began to notice things differently the stillness between moments, the way light wrapped around a face or flickered through trees. I saw beauty in the quiet, the overlooked, the in between.

After moving to Arizona, my wife became my biggest encourager. She reminded me that this wasn’t just a hobby—it was a gift. One I was meant to share.

I didn’t always believe in myself. For a long time, I hesitated, unsure if I could really call myself an artist. But now, I do. I trust my eye. I trust my voice. I trust what I see.

Visions by Tara B. is more than a name it’s my lens on the world. A way to show the beauty I witness in this reality. The raw, the soulful, the poetic. "Every still moment is a story. Every story, a vision."

And this is where my journey truly begins with a camera, a calling, and the courage to honor what’s always been inside me.
